Our Story

Hoof Print Memories started with one simple frame and a memory we wanted to hold onto.
Mike has spent most of his life working with his hands, building and creating things with care, while Sarah grew up around horses and all the memories that come with them. A few years ago, we made our very first horseshoe frame to honor a special memory shared with Sarah’s horses — something that deserved more than just a photo tucked away on a phone.
After we hung the frame in our home, friends and family kept asking about it. People connected with the story behind it and loved how something as simple as a horseshoe could hold so much meaning. That’s when we realized other horse lovers might want a special way to hold onto their own memories too.
What started as one frame slowly grew into Hoof Print Memories.
Today, we make frames to celebrate beloved horses, unforgettable rides, rodeo memories, show days, barn life, and all the little moments in between. We know how much trust it takes to send someone your horse’s shoes or keepsakes — especially when they carry so many memories. Having gone through that loss ourselves, we understand how important those pieces are, and we treat every one with the same care and respect we’d want for our own.
At the end of it all, we’re just horse people making something meaningful for other horse people.
